We are delighted to be hosting several musical evenings in the coming months and we have spmething for everyone to enjoy.

Saturday 17th June

The Ghyll Singers, a ladies choir based in Ulverston, will be coming to entertain us and raise money for the hall.It will be an informal, friendly evening and the bar will be open. These ladies passionately believe that music is good for the soul. The come from all walks of life and their cameraderie and sense of humour shines through their music. The music varies from recent musicals to madrigals and there is generally a little bit of 'poetry' (Pam Ayres style) thrown into the mix. It really is a night not to be missed. Doors open at 7.00pm and the concert begins at 7.30pm.Bring your own nibbles and be prepared for a lovely evening! And if you are very lucky you may experience our wonderful sunset from the veranda! Tickets cost £5 for adults £2.50 for children under 12 and can be bought direct from our website or by contacting our hall manager either on 07905779584 or by emailing This email address is being protected from spambots. The Blackheart Orchestra-We welcome once again this duo (perhaps the smallest orchestra ever?) who play a multitude of instruments.Their unique music has been described as “Utterly magical” by the BBC’s John Gilmore and “One of the best things to come out of England in recent years.” by Fatea Music Magazine. As before the bar will be open!

    Eileen Senogles

It is a good hall to use for a celebration; the committee set up and cleared the hall which was great. Having the bar was useful to. Thank you to everyone who helped make our Mother's 90th birthday a success.

    RWE

We had a business meeting in the hall for 25 people and found it to be spacious, well appointed and clean - just what we needed. The value for money is truly incredible. The hall has great kitchen facilities. In booking the hall the manager was incredibly friendly and helpful.

    Elizabeth Bullett

The hall was wonderful and we were very happy with all the arrangements. If convenient, please pass on to the committee what an excellent venue it was for our reception and the large number of positive comments we received from our guests.

    Grace's Mother

We had a great time for Grace's party today. The hall was perfect and lots of my family who live elsewhere were drooling over the hall and wishing they had one in their village.
