On Friday 17th March 2017 at 7.30om we are holding our increasingly popular quiz night. Come on your own and join a team or bring a team of your own of up to 6 people for a lovely evening of fun. You can bring nibbles (or even your own tea!) and drinks can be purchased at our bar! Entry is only £1 per person so it will hardly break the bank. Designed for all ages,you could even bring the family!
On Saturday 18th March we are hosting a Stork Sale, and for those of you who don't know what that is, it's a sale of childrens' equipment, clothes and toys.It's from 10am-12.00pm and if you'd like a stall the cost is only £5.You can book one by contacting Yvonne Frost on 07905 779584. If you haven't a lot to sell then there will be a hall stall where we can sell things on you behalf for a 10% donation towards the hall.For further details please ask.Entry for buyers will be free and refreshments will be available.
We are all very much looking forward to our Greek night on Saturday 25th March at 7.30pm! Hosted by Vas from "It's all Greek to me" at Millom Network centre there will be a huge Greek buffet so that you can sample the delight of Greek and ask Vas about the food. That will be followed by Greek dancing and music because, as Vas said, "A bear can't dance on an empty stomache!". Tickets are £12.50 for adults and £5 for under 10's and can be purchase from our hall manager Yvonne Frost on 07905 779584 , Grizebeck Filling Stattion or Millom Network Centre. But hurry they will be strictly limited and available on a first come first served basis!

That’s the theme of our Ready Steady Cook night on Saturday 29th October at 7.30pm. Doors open at 7.00pm and there will be a bar and nibbles to eat whilst your mouth waters are the sight of Gary’s delicious cooking.
This is a first at Grizebeck Community Hall- you never know, if you’re lucky you may just get the chance to sample the results!
Saturday 17th September 10.00am -We are delighted that Sarah Atkinson medical herbalist will be leading us on a local walk and pointing out the local flora and fauna and it’s uses. These are delightful and interesting walks and Sarah is entertaining and informative. Then it will back to the hall for bacon butties and a hot drink at around 12.30pm. Lunch is open to all whether or not you are able to take part in the walk which will last about 2 hours and will be very leisurely. Cost of walk £2 per person (suitable for children accompanied by an adult)
We are excited to be hosting a craft fair on Saturday 20th August from 11am until 3.pm at Grizebeck Community Hall. Entry is by donation towards hall funds and we have loads of wonderful stalls including,Bath time beauties,Catriona Roberts and Helen Dixon with their own brands of jewellery,Tracy Wells with her hats,Debbie Robley with animal portraits,Frances Graham with felt pictures, Gay Goodson with baskets,Jenny Pratt with bags,Kath Dempster with patchwork , Donna Munro with fused glass,Brenda Craven with home made goods and pictures,Ashley Rose with children's clothes and Elaine Oliver with vietnamese silk handbags and we still have more in the planning! Refreshments will be available .All welcome!
